Women in the Seed Sector
Cutting Through Like a Hot Knife Through Butter!
Today is not Women's Day, and thankfully so! After all, there shouldn't be just one day to remember women. They deserve constant recognition, especially in the seed sector, where their driving force is often underestimated.
In the corporate world of seeds, although many leadership positions are still held by men, the growing presence of women is undeniable and crucial. Why is it so vital to have women in leadership positions? Because we men tend to adopt more direct and sometimes aggressive approaches. Meanwhile, women bring an essential peripheral vision that can make all the difference in management.
Speaking of direct approaches, do not be mistaken in thinking that women in the seed world are subservient. Far from it! I have had the privilege of meeting some of these incredible women and studying the trajectories of others in the sector. Just like in the field of brand management, where it is crucial to understand the market and its players, in the seed agribusiness, women are redefining the rules.
Using brand management jargon, I would say that women are positioning themselves in the seed sector with mastery. They are not just participating; they are leading forcefully, challenging stereotypes. And if you thought about female vulnerability, forget it: women, regardless of their position, are "Cutting Through Like a Hot Knife Through Butter." For those who still doubt women's power, I suggest you take a closer look. The future is female, and in the seed world, that future has already begun to sprout.
